I think vow renewal ceremonies are such a neat idea. Most importantly, you get to renew your love for each other with all your family and friends. Marriage is such an amazing thing, and being blessed two-fold (your wedding then your vow renewals) just gives it that much more meaning and reason to celebrate. Plus, there is way less pressure than a full wedding. You can pretty much wear whatever you want, you can go as high- or low-key on food, catering, drinks, decor, and really no one can voice their opinion because, well, you’ve already had a wedding so all the pressure’s off. Anyway, I just like them, and Dennis and Lisa’s was no exception.
They were blessed with their family and close friends to celebrate their second Big Day. Lisa’s sons and Dennis’s daughter also got to be a part of the creative sand ceremony (everyone had their own color) and be the “ring bearers.” We got some fun photos to capture the essence of the ceremony, but mostly focused on getting some fabulous family photos while they were dressed in their fancy suits and snappy dresses. I especially loved Lisa’s chic, lacy, vintage-flair dress, and the red and white flowers just accented it that much more. Besides that, they were just a very sweet couple, lovey, and goofy, making jokes left and right. And Dennis has quite the crazy side, which seemed to complement Lisa’s genuine and easy-going personality.
What a beautiful ceremony and celebration, thanks for letting me be a part of your special day, twice!
