Hallie and I are kindred spirits when it comes to horses. We’ve both ridden all our lives and board our horses at the same place. In fact, I’m from Indiana, and came here with my horse to go to school. During the same time, Hallie, from Arizona, went to Indiana with her horse to go to school. Kind of a small world. Luckily, we both ended up in the same place after college and have spent many a Saturday morning riding and chatting. Hallie just radiates kindness and compassion from the minute you meet her, which is one of the reasons I’m sure her fiance, Dustin, snagged her up as soon as he could. They are such a wonderful couple, they know how to have fun, and are both so patient and kind. I also loved that Hallie wanted pictures with her horse, Joplin, who she’s had almost her whole adult life. In Hallie’s words, he was quite the “devo” during our shoot. It was so fun to capture his personality with Hallie and Dustin’s interaction. Plus, he was a little ham for the camera and did everything I wanted (not mentioning that I had a few peppermints hidden). So excited for their wedding in March, it’s going to be fabulous!
