I was blessed to photograph Bennett and his assistance dog, Aggie, a couple weeks ago. The photos were featured in a newsletter/magazine distributed by the PAWS With a Cause, a Michigan based organization that matches up assistance dogs with individuals with disabilities. It was so awesome to meet such a great team, and we had a ton of fun capturing Bennett and Aggie’s special bond.
Once the photos were released by the organization, I received several messages from people who’ve helped with Aggie and the PAWS organization. It was so wonderful to hear the positive impact these pictures had for so many individuals. I even heard from the family who raised Aggie before she was placed with Bennett!
Wow Jenna, your photos of Aggie & Bennett are awesome! Great day to see such wonderful photos of this team as I am a puppy raiser for PAWS, and I raised Aggie in our home and miss her dearly. But I am so heart warmed to see such wonderful photos of them together as they look absolutely happy together. We actually just turned in our foster fourth foster pup TODAY, so seeing these photos this afternoon just raised my spirits why I raise the special dogs for others!
Whoa! I can’t image how hard it is to give the puppies away after spending months training and raising them, it truly takes a special heart to be a PAWS puppy raiser! Thank you to all those families who raise these dogs for individuals with disabilities. What a blessing to hear such encouraging words!
